To create a geofence in the online portal:
- Go to https://abax.cloud/central/map/
- Click the ‘Geofences’ sub-menu and ‘Add geofence’
- You can either ‘Draw new geofence’ or ‘Choose from template’
NB: Templates are not available in all regions, but offer a list of common zones, such as the London low-emission zone
- Click ‘Draw new geofence’
- Navigate to where on the map you would like to draw your geofence
- Click on the map to start drawing the area
- The shape can be any size, we recommend you make it slightly larger than the point of interest to minimise the risk of false positives from GPS drift
- Complete the area by double-clicking or returning to the first point
- Give the geofence a name
- Click ‘Save’ and the geofence is created
- At any time, you can restart by clicking ‘Discard shape’ or cancel by clicking ‘Close’.
