Please follow these guidelines to ensure a safe, reliable installation.
Step 1. Pick a mounting location
The ideal mounting location is on a flat part of the vehicle dashboard and within 70cm of the paired ABAX device.
Installation tips:
- Avoid placing the device beneath metal or near electronics like an infotainment screen or charging pad
- Ensure the device does not interfere with the driver's ability to operate the vehicle
- Use only the cables provided - using alternatives may void your warranty
- Ensure the device is fully charged.
Step 2. Prepare the area
Clean and dry the mounting location using the supplied cleansing wipe.
Step 3. Mount the device
Apply the adhesive sticker and allow it to set for a few minutes. Once set, attach the device using Velcro strips.
We recommend keeping the device connected at all times. If this is not possible, the device will need recharging periodically using the cable provided; this can be done in-vehicle
