NB: For ABAX6L devices, please fully charge the device before installation (approx. 12 hours).
Please follow these guidelines to ensure a safe, reliable installation.
Step 1. Pick a mounting location
Suitable mounting locations are based on what you want to track and whether the device should be hidden from view.
Installation tips:
- Avoid mounting the device under metal or close to other electronic components
- Do not mount on hot surfaces or moving parts
Step 2. Prepare the area
Clean and dry the mounting location using the supplied cleansing wipe.
Step 3. Mount the device
Mount with adhesive tape or use specially designed magnetic jackets or a steel cage (sold separately).
Step 4. Register the device
Find the device's serial number in the ABAX Admin app and enter any relevant details.
No app access? Setup can be completed later in the web platform by an Admin. For now, note the serial number, date, time, and other relevant details such as name, make and model.
