Easy to swap between vehicles
GPS and GSM signals are impaired by metal. Therefore the unit should not be installed in a position where the metallic body of the vehicle can interfere with signal strength.
Advanced positioning system simultaneously reads from multiple, independent satellite systems including GPS, Glonass, Galileo and BeiDou and global navigation satellite systems.
Remove the device from the box.
Locate the OBDII connection on the vehicle and install device.
Make sure to provide all required vehicle/machine information (Registration number, Vehicle milage, Running hours and Driver name) to your Fleet Manager or someone with ABAX Admin access so it can be added to your ABAX asset settings and complete setup.
Extension cable is not included with the device. Contact customer service for further details.
Remove the device from the box.
Locate the OBDII connection on the vehicle.
Connect the device to the extension cable and plug the cable into the OBDII connection.
Use the supplied double sided tape to secure the device to the vehicle.
Make sure to provide all required vehicle/machine information (Registration number, Vehicle milage, Running hours and Driver name) to your Fleet Manager or someone with ABAX Admin access so it can be added to your ABAX asset settings and complete setup.
The tracking device is only live when powered by an OBDII port.
When powered:

When disconnected:
The device has a small battery to minimise ‘cold starts’ so a new position is found quicker. Otherwise, the device does not track position while disconnected.
